The online Master eLearning course was my first experience with on-line learning. As with anything new I was a little bit sceptical that the on line course will be sufficient to cover such broad topic – the eLearning.

I was expecting a course that will state the facts, let the reader read through the course material in other words - a glorified power point presentation, more an eReading than eLearning. This learning experience proved that online learning is as effective (if not more effective) than the face to face learning.

I was very pleasantly surprised with the fact that this was a facilitated eLearning course. The online coach – Ruth was there to guide you through the course material. Ruth contacted us in the first week and kept the communication throughout the course, so you didn’t get the feeling that it is all up to you to finish the course. The part that I liked the most is the interactions – learners had to participate in discussions and webinars. She also, sends reminders on when the assessments are due, so we could keep on tract and complete the course on time.

The fact that it was online helped with juggling the work and family life. The system lets you log on from both home and work computer and work through your course material. The order of assessments is logical and they build on each other.

The course content is applicable to workplace. My experience is in Learning and Development and everything from the setting the project scope, to working on training needs analysis to developing a prototype, a course, enrolling participant and facilitating a webinar was applicable to workplace situations.

My experience with B Online Learning support is great. I had some technical problems with loading my course on LMS and the Support Team responded immediately sending me the details how to overcome it. Also, the learning coach was very helpful, giving great advices and very skilled with all aspects of eLearning techniques. I also have to mention that the course I was enrolled on had a three month time frame however due to the unplanned workload Ruth – the learning coach agreed to let me finish the course a little bit later. She was also very flexible with the timing for the webinars and telephone conferences and tried to fit the learning into our work schedule.

To finish off, I had very pleasant experience doing the B Online Learning course and I recommended this course to my L&D colleagues.
