During the LearnX conference held in Sydney on July 26th and 27th, B Online Learning launched the Learning Management System – Learnflex product into the Asia Pacific region.

B Online and their partner Operitel are working together to extend the Learnflex product footprint throughout the Asia Pacific Region, and the LearnX conference was an excellent vehicle to launch the product.

Mike Skinner the President and Chief Executive Officer of Operitel Corporation attended the conference.  Operitel Corporation is one of Canada’s fastest growing E-Learning providers. Mike coauthored the Chapter “Changing your LMS from hype to happiness” which has been published in the book “Plan to Learn: Case studies in eLearning Project Management”. Mike presented at conference covering the following topics;

• Course verses competency training.
• Structured Learning Paths and their uses.
• Learning Analytics (Reporting).

Bronwyn Stell, B Online’s Technical Director also presented on the Expo stage, a demonstration of the Learnflex product covering;

• An employee’s view of their Learning Plan
• How the Learnflex product is highly configurable to an organisation’s business rules, allowing for rapid deployment.
• Effortless personalisation of the user interface, corporate branding and contextual language.
• Improving organisational effectiveness by efficiently measuring and closing competency and certification gaps.

During the conference, many organisations were able to get a bird’s eye view of the Learnflex product, and the flexibility of the product. Of particular interest was the ability of Learnflex to assist Registered Training Organisations to comply with the AQTF 2007.
